JALAPEÑO & MONTEREY JACK GRILLED CHEESE
Jalapeño & Lime Spicy Chili Jam
It’s not easy being green, but it is quite tasty! This grilled cheese is loaded with melty Monterey Jack, creamy avocado, fresh microgreens, and Blake Hill’s Jalapeño & Lime Spicy Chili Jam for the perfect kick.
Ingredients:
Blake Hill Jalapeño & Lime Spicy Chili Jam
Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
Avocado, sliced
Microgreens
Artisan Bread
Butter or Mayonnaise
Directions:
Spread butter or mayonnaise over one side of both bread slices. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Spread Jalapeño & Lime Spicy Chili Jam on the opposite side of each bread slice, then lay both slices butter/mayo-side down into the skillet.
Sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack onto both slices and cover the skillet. Cook until the cheese has melted and the underside is golden brown. Remove from the skillet and place on a plate.
Build your grilled cheese by layering sliced avocado and microgreens on one slice, then top with the other slice.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
