Stacked high on a toasted bun, every bite is pure magic. Serve it up with our Chili Lime Sweet Potato Fries for a meal that’ll have everyone asking for seconds!

For the Burger:

4 Tbsp Green Chili Infused Olive Oil, divided

1 Large Vidalia Onion, thinly sliced

1½ lbs Ground Beef

1 Egg

2 tsp Tomato Paste

1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 Tbsp Sweet Smoked Chili Rub & Seasoning

1 tsp Chili Verde Flake Sea Salt

4-6 Hamburger Buns, to serve

4-6 Slices Havarti Cheese

4-5 Butter Lettuce Leaves

½ cup Red Pepper Jam (see our recipe)

For the Chili Lime Sweet Potato Fries:

2 Large Sweet Potatoes

2 Tbsp Green Chili Infused Olive Oil

2 tsp Sweet Smoked Chili Rub & Seasoning

½ tsp Chili Verde Flake Sea Salt

¼ Fresh Lime, juiced

Directions:

  1. In a medium skillet over medium-low heat, make your caramelized onions by adding 2 Tbsp Green Chili Infused Olive Oil. Once shimmering, add the onions. Cook for 45-60 minutes, stirring occasionally, being careful not to let the onions brown. Set aside.

  2. To make the fries, preheat the oven to 425°F. Wash potatoes and peel if desired. Cut into ½-inch strips. Toss with 2 Tbsp Green Chili Infused Olive Oil and 2 tsp Sweet Smoked Chili Rub & Seasoning. Roast for 25 minutes, turning halfway through. Finish with Chili Verde Flake Sea Salt and lime juice.

  3. In a large bowl, combine beef, egg, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tbsp Sweet Smoked Chili Rub & Seasoning, and 1 tsp Chili Verde Flake Sea Salt. Mix until combined and form into desired size patties.

  4. Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Brush the inside of the burger buns with 1-2 tsp Green Chili Infused Olive Oil and toast until golden brown, 2-3 minutes. Set aside.

  5. Increase heat to medium-high and add 2 Tbsp Green Chili Infused Olive Oil. Add burgers and cook 4-5 minutes on the first side until caramelized, then flip, add Havarti cheese, and cook another 3-4 minutes.

  6. Assemble the burger with butter lettuce, the patty, caramelized onions, and 1-2 Tbsp Red Pepper Jam. Serve with Chili Lime Sweet Potato Fries. Enjoy!
