Manufactured in Portugal, using the best local natural resources, which minimizes their  ecological footprint.  Their original formula results in a unique ceramic body with a special  bonding between the clay and the glazed surface making their product more durable- as they are resistant to thermal and mechanical shocks.  This means the stoneware doesn't chip or scratch easily, and it can withstand high temperatures.  It also means it has a longer lifespan, compared to more fragile ceramics.
